TraceAssured is an Internet based service for supply chain information exchange from source to shelf. It collects, stores, and reports forward and backward traces, mass balances and quality data within and between supply chains, within and throughout the global food industry, in real time.
TraceAssured has been developed by food industry experts with the backing and support of some of Europe's leading manufacturers, retailers and standards bodies.
Traceability information level, granularity, and complexity can be individually modelled and maintained according to specific needs.
TraceAssured is compatible with the requirements of the new international traceability standard ISO22005.

Up to this point, traceability solutions have either been for simple food products (such as vegetables or prime cuts of meat) or have required a major IT solution to be established for Enterprise Resource Planning or Supply Chain Management (ERP/SCM).
